Acta Haematologica Polonica

Acta Haematologica Polonica (AHP) is a peer-reviewed, English-language, gold open access journal. It is the official bimonthly publication of the Polish Society of Haematologists and Transfusiologists and the Institute of Haematology and Transfusion Medicine. The journal has been associated with haematology and transfusion medicine since 1970. AHP publishes original research articles, clinical vignettes, reviews, and expert guidelines. Acta Haematologica Polonica covers key areas of physiology and pathology in haematology and transfusion medicine, including leucocytes, erythrocytes, platelets, the immune system, mechanisms of haemostasis, and the clinical aspects of haematological malignancies.

Currently, there is neither a preparation charge nor an author publication charge for manuscripts submitted to Acta Haematologica Polonica.

The journal is archived in Portico, a community-supported digital preservation archive. Acta Haematologica Polonica was accepted for indexing in the Web of Science Core Collection in July 2025 and is currently under review for inclusion in the Journal Citation Reports and the assignment of an Impact Factor.

Acta Haematologica Polonica was included in the register of journals and proceedings of international conferences published by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education on 5 January 2024, and was awarded 100 points.
